Fremont Ford gave us a great deal on the price of our recently purchased van. Fremont Ford has also volunteered to take care of future maintenance, as well as arranging installation of the gate lift, donated by Commercial Van Interiors.
Giving for Living campaign – Viola Blythe will receive from $250-$1000 for every roof or solar system purchased by Newark citizens depending on the purchase size. “Giving for Living is a practical way to drive funds to great community organizations like Viola Blythe,” says Jim Petersen, CEO and founder of Petersen Dean Roofing and Solar Systems, “We all can’t spend the time or money like the volunteers at Viola Blythe so by participating in our fundraising program, homeowners can help others as a byproduct of their purchase.”
We had the most exciting visit from the Alameda County Firefighters Association recently. They brought two fire trucks and presented us with a $1,500 check from their fundraising pancake breakfast event.
Mi Pueblo donated $2,500 in grocery cards just before Christmas Holidays. We received over 60 toys from the 2011 State of the 20th Assembly District Address & Awards Ceremony at Logan High.
PeopleCore Inc., on behalf of Evergreen Oil presented the Viola Blythe Center a $4,000 check. The RoadDoggs motorcycle Club donated $200.00 in Target Cards for teen gifts.
